The school supported Cancer Research by hosting a Race for Life our fifth event on 16th July 2019.
On the day we had many stalls selling everything from sweets to throwing sponges at teachers! Students could run, walk or skip 1km, 3km or 5km. As a school we raised over £6,000 on the day. What a fantastic amount to raise!
To get involved with Macmillan Cancer Support we decided to do a giant coffee morning. On the 28th September we hosted the coffee morning and were blown away by the amount of cakes the pupils of the school brought in.
We carry out six non uniform days a year which support local and national charities. For example, at Christmas we supported the Boston Stump Appeal for coats and sleeping bags for the homeless. We also hold our annual Christmas Jumper day just before we break up in Term 2. It is lovely to see so many sparkly and flashing jumpers. We even award the best staff and pupil jumper in final assembly.
